Job summary

Salt Dental Partners is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will support patients before, during, and after visits, assist with radiographs and impressions, and keep the treatment space organized and sterile.

The ideal candidate holds an active dental assistant license, 6+ months experience, CPR or BLS, and familiarity with dental software. CODA accreditation is preferred for applicants.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant.
• 6+ months of experience as a dental assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Strong problem solving with integrity and confidentiality.
• Comfortable with software used for charting, records, and scheduling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients before, during, and after their appointment.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment.
• Document dental care services by charting patient records.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, patient-centered working environment.
