Job summary

Doby's Bridge Pediatric Dentistry in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant II to support pediatric dentists across locations. You will assist with procedures, sterilize instruments, and educate families, while upholding safety standards and HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates have CDA/EFDA certification, relevant anesthesia/light sedation qualifications, and at least 2 years of pediatric dental experience. Opportunities for growth and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• CDA or EFDA certification required.
• Coronal Polishing and Nitrous Oxide certification or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy, HIPAA compliance, and infection control.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Curve dental software.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists chairside during procedures, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and equipment.
• Create a welcoming and comforting experience for children.
• Capture dental X-rays in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Educate parents and caregivers on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with front-office support as needed.
