Job summary

The University of Rochester is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant in Rochester, NY to support the EIOH Pediatric Dentistry team. You will assist dentists, maintain sterile conditions, and prepare instruments and materials for procedures.

Responsibilities include four-handed dentistry, radiograph setup, inventory management, and ensuring patient safety. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of dental or OR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant or in an Operating Room environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and providers with patient care.
• Support clinic/operating room operations and equipment.
• Maintain sterile environment and aseptic technique.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry and pass/receive instruments.
• Maintain inventory of clinic equipment, instruments, and supplies.
