Qualifications

• 6+ months of practical experience as a pediatric dental assistant; training available for new grads.
• CPR or BCLS certification.

• Technical/troubleshooting skills for software used in charting, patient records, and scheduling.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with a friendly, respectful attitude.
• Inform and comfort patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment.
• Provide chair-side assistance to providers during procedures.
• Document dental care services in patients' records.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, patient-centric workspace.
