Job summary

Kenosha Community Health Center, in collaboration with Pillar Health, is seeking a Dental Assistant for our Washington Road clinic in Kenosha. The role focuses on pediatric dentistry, chair-side support, X-ray taking, and patient education.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of pediatric dental experience, is proficient with radiography, and holds current BLS certification. Spanish skills are preferred. Travel to other SE Wisconsin locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in pediatric dental assisting.
• Able to take digital x-rays and manage patient records.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and immunization status.
• Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist with chair-side procedures and four‑handed dentistry.
• Take x-rays, impressions, and prepare study models.
• Prepare operatory, sterilize and maintain equipment.
• Manage patient intake, vitals, and medical/dental history.
• Explain postop instructions and schedule follow-ups.
• Document in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
