Job summary

Pillar Health, a Division of Kenosha Community Health Center, is hiring a Dental Assistant for our Washington Road Pediatric Dentistry practice. You will support clinical procedures, including x-rays, impressions, anesthesia assistance, and four-handed dentistry. Travel to other SE Wisconsin locations may be required.

Open to full-time applicants; the clinic operates with varied shifts, typically 32–40 hours weekly. Benefits include major medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in pediatric dental assisting position required.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish (oral and written) preferred.
• Must be current on all ACIP immunizations & PPD status.
• Must maintain BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with chair-side procedures and take digital x-rays (Pan, BWX’s, PAs).
• Screen emergency patients and manage four-handed instrument transfers.
• Prepare and sterilize operatory, equipment, and instruments per guidelines.
• Record patient medical and dental histories and vitals; chart conditions per dentist notes.
