Job summary

Riley Hospital for Children is seeking a Full-Time Entry-Level Dental Assistant on a weekday day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) to support the pediatric dental team. No call, no weekends, and no holidays offer a stable schedule, with on-the-job growth and patient-focused care for young patients.

No Dental Radiology License is required to start; you must pass the exam and obtain certification within your first 9 months of service, while gaining experience under supervision in a pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• BLS-CPR certification required.
• Indiana Dental Radiology License must be active within 9 months of hire.
• Certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program or on-the-job training with at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care in a clinical setting under supervision of a dentist or assigned supervisor.
• Assist with radiography as directed, using safe radiology practices.
• Prepare and organize instruments, equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Schedule patient visits and handle registration/administration tasks.
