Lever, Inc. in Bossier City, LA is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to support the clinical team, prepare operatorys and assist during pediatric procedures, ensuring a friendly, safe, and efficient visit for children and their families.

The role requires state-certifications, experience in pediatric dentistry preferred, radiography certification if required by state, CPR/BLS, and familiarity with dental software; you will maintain records and help with inventory while upholding OSHA/HIPAA

Competenze

• Must have a Dental Assistant certification as required by the state.
• X-ray certification may be required by state.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
• Take and record dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with state regulations.
• Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
• Comfort and guide pediatric patients, creating a positive experience.
• Provide chairside assistance including suctioning, instrument transfer, and charting.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Support office flow by preparing rooms and turning over operatories efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of clinical supplies.
• Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies and procedures.
