Job summary

Mississippi Smiles (County Line) is part of Kids Dental Brands and is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our caring team. You’ll work chairside with dentists, take X-rays, and help keep instruments sterilized while supporting patient comfort for children and families.

We offer a modern, kid-focused office with a collaborative culture and predictable daytime hours. Travel to the Woodrow Wilson office is required, and benefits include health coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS Certification is required.
• Mississippi Dental Radiology Permit required.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition).
• Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records.
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
