Job summary

iKids Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support pediatric patients and clinicians in a busy practice. The role emphasizes compassionate care for children, teamwork, and professional growth within a friendly environment.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. We offer comprehensive benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical/dental/vision, HSA, FSA, 401(k), disability and life insurance, plus community giving back opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pediatric dental assisting experience is preferred, however, training and development will be provided.
• Radiography requirements according to state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric patients and support clinicians during visits.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Attend and participate in morning huddles and office meetings.

As a Dental Assistant with iKids Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics you will play a vital role in ensuring children develop healthy habits and a lifetime of beautiful smiles!

Pediatric Dental Assisting experience is preferred, however, we will support the training and development of an experienced dental assistant. Our ideal candidate loves kids, is flexible and reliable, and seeks to grow professionally.

Requirements

Education/Credentials

• A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is .
• Radiography requirements according to the state regulations.

Job Related Experience

• Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.
• Pediatric experience, preferred

• Must have PC skills with an ability to learn and successfully use new software programs as required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is preferred; as well as experience with a fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.
