Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Jacksonville practice. You will assist the dental team, prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and educate patients on oral hygiene while supporting dentists during procedures.

The role emphasizes strong organization, communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment with exposure to dental software and technology. Training is available where needed across state requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
