Job summary

Great Expressions Dental Centers in Florida is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic and thriving practice. We’re looking for an energetic and motivated individual to support the dental team and positively impact patients' oral health in a fast-paced environment.

You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, educate patients on oral hygiene, assist dentists during procedures, and manage appointments and records.

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education preferred; training available.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication, friendly, compassionate demeanor.

• Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus.

Requirements

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
