Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Operating Room team.

The role supports pediatric patients from newborn to young adulthood with congenital heart conditions, in a highly collaborative, teaching-hospital environment. Candidates should hold an RN license in Florida (or Compact) with BLS, and preferably have 6 months to 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Florida (or Compact).
• BSN preferred; ADN with BSN within 36 months considered.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience; 2 years preferred.
• Prior pediatric OR experience is a plus; BLS certification per AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, APPs, CSTs, and anesthesia to ensure safe, quality care.
• Support family education and patient recovery throughout the perioperative period.
