Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU assignment in the Phoenix metro area. The role requires 2 years in pediatric CVICU, with the ability to float between NICU and PICU, and shifts of 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a. Expect 26 weeks of assignment with 36 hours per week.

Licensure must be active in AZ or a compact state, and BLS and PALS certifications are required. Start date is Sep 28, 2026, with multiple locations within the Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact RN license with multistate privileges
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• NRP certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in pediatric CVICU
• Experience floating between NICU and PICU
• Children's hospital experience preferred
• ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing required

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families per evidence-based standards
• Provide care coordination and family education in a pediatric CVICU setting
• Comply with flu vaccination and infection-control policies
• Assist with float assignments between NICU and PICU as needed
