Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for the CVICU on nights, 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours). A sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

The CVICU recently expanded to 20 beds and provides care from neonates to 18-year-olds with a 1:1 or 1:2 staffing ratio. The unit ranks among top pediatric programs nationwide and offers comprehensive subspecialty care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
• One year of pediatric in-patient RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
