Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse with 2+ years CVICU/post‑op heart experience for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU at a Magnet‑designated Level I Pediatric Trauma teaching hospital in Portland, OR. Active OR RN license required with Oregon license. BLS/PALS required; NRP preferred. Epic EMR experience essential.

Night shifts may be required, with weekend rotation and no-call expectations. Strong ventilator, CRRT, ECMO, and dysrhythmia management skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required; OR license in Oregon.
• BLS and PALS certified; NRP preferred.
• Minimum 2 years CVICU/post-op heart experience.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill pediatric patients in the CVPICU at a Level I Trauma teaching hospital.
• Perform bedside procedures: central/arterial line placement, intubation, CRRT/ECMO support.
• Manage ventilators, hemodynamics, sedation, and pediatric dosing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists and therapists.
