Job summary

Pediatric Sub-Specialty Faculty & Rady Children's Health-Orange County seek an experienced Nurse Practitioner for the Critical Care Division in the CVICU. The NP will function as an advanced clinical expert in pediatric cardiac intensive care within a family-centered environment.

The role involves evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of cardiac patients, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and education of patients and families. Join CHOC Specialists.

Qualifications

• Licensed California NP with pediatric cardiovascular critical care experience.
• Minimum two years of bedside nursing in direct pediatric CVICU care.
• At least one year of clinical pediatric NP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat cardiac medical and post-operative patients in CVICU.
• Develop and implement plans of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide consultation and family education within a family-centered care environment.
