Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ seeks a BC/BE Anesthesiologist with fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesia to join Banner Medical Group. The role requires AZ licensure or ability to obtain one, AZ DEA, and current TEE certification.

Expect 6 weeknight and 3 weekend call shifts per quarter with up to 12 weeks off per year. Join Banner Health to provide specialized pediatric cardiovascular anesthesia for complex pediatric cases at a premier East Valley center.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Anesthesiologist with pediatric CV training.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesia.
• Unrestricted AZ license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to obtain AZ DEA license.
• Current Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography Certification.
• 6 weeknight call shifts and 3 weekend call shifts per quarter.
• Schedule allows for up to 12 weeks Time-Off.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric cardiovascular anesthesia care for surgical cases.
• Collaborate with pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons, perfusionists, and OR teams.
• Ensure patient safety, hemodynamic monitoring, and effective pain control.
