Job summary

The DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan is seeking a Pediatric CT Technologist for a contingent rotate assignment. Under supervision, you will perform diagnostic CT exams and ensure patient safety and accuracy of imaging.

You will verify patient identity, review medical history, explain procedures and risks, and communicate findings to radiologists. The role includes on-call duties and cross-training within the radiology team to support patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) or CT (CT) preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider must be completed by end of orientation.
• One or more years of Radiologic Technologist experience in Radiology or CT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
• Verify patient identity and review medical history for exam appropriateness.
• Explain procedure to patient, including risks and benefits, and obtain consent when required.
• Communicate imaging data to radiologist and participate in quality-improvement activities.
