Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan seeks a Pediatric CT Technologist for full-time night shifts. The role performs diagnostic CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology and Cardiology exams, with emphasis on pediatric imaging.

You will verify patient info, explain procedures, review images with radiologist, and participate in quality improvements. Requires ARRT in Radiology, BLS, ACLS or PALS within timeframe, and 1+ year radiologic tech experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiology certification required.
• BLS required by orientation period.
• ACLS within 6 months for adult settings or PALS within 1 year for cardiology settings.
• At least 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT/MRI/Interventional Radiology and Cardiology exams.
• Verify patient identity and review medical history for exam appropriateness.
• Explain procedure, risks and follow-up to patients; obtain consent as needed.
• Review images with radiologist and communicate data; respond to emergencies.
• Participate in quality-improvement activities and imaging education.
