Job summary

Miami Children’s Hospital is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthetic care for pediatric patients under the direct supervision of a pediatric anesthesiologist. The role includes pre-procedure assessments, medication preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and post-anesthesia care.

The candidate must hold a Master's or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia, be licensed in Florida, and maintain NBCRNA certification with active AHA BLS/PALS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Anesthesia (AANA-accredited).
• APRN Florida licensure in good standing; NBCRNA certification.
• Active AHA BLS, PALS and ACLS required; credentialing by NCH Medical Administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthetic care under direct supervision of a pediatric anesthesiologist.
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessment and prepare medications and equipment.
• Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia parameters; adjust as needed.
• Document anesthesia records every 5 minutes and report patient status to team.
• Participate in post-anesthesia care and discharge planning as indicated.
