Job summary

Global Medical Response’s Critical Care Transport EMT role at the Children’s Hospital in Colorado Springs area places you on a team delivering high‑level care to neonatal through young pediatric patients. You will drive the CCT ambulance, coordinate with flight crews, and ensure patient safety during transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Colorado State EMT and CPR certifications required.
• CO IV Certification required.
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 2 years.
• Ambulance driving experience preferred (6 months).
• Free of any clinical/corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the CCT ambulance and maintain the ambulance.
• Assist the flight crew in patient care transported by CCT.
• Load and unload patients into ambulance or aircraft.
• Assist with public relations for hospital and community.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings.
• Complete equipment and orientation checklists.
• Ensure ambulance is ready for transport and restocked after transport.
• Communicate with dispatch and flight crew with transport details.
