Job summary

Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Children's Float Pool. The role covers active nursing process for pediatric patients and may lead a team during shifts.

Required are Nevada RN licensure, graduation from an accredited school, BLS and ACLS certifications, plus 2 years of pediatric ICU experience. BSN is preferred, with strong pediatric critical care background.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nevada
• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• 2 years of acute care hospital critical care experience
• 2 years of pediatric hospital experience
• Pediatric Critical Care experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform active nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for pediatric patients.
• May assume Team Leader role for part or full shift as needed.
