Job summary

Penn State Health - Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA is seeking an inpatient Registered Nurse for a PRN Day shift (7:00a-3:30p). The RN assesses health problems, develops and implements care plans, and maintains detailed medical records while administering medications and monitoring for adverse effects.

Requirements include active RN licensure in the employment state (or an NLC license), AHA BLS certification, and a minimum of two years of recent operating room experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in state of employment or multistate license via the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period.
• Minimum two years of recent operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs and develop care plans.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document care provided.
• Administer medications and monitor for reactions and side effects.
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions.
