Job summary

The primary site is Texas Children's Hospital. Applicants must hold an NP or PA degree with Texas licensure, PALS and NCCPA/Specialty certs; Pediatric critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required for Pediatric Acute Care NP (CPNP-AC).
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies required for PA track; BA/BS in PA may be accepted per terminal degree requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced patient care under physician supervision.
• Perform, order, and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe treatments and maintain patient records.
• Participate in education of trainees and supervision of fellows.
• Liaise with CICU/PICU teams and other services.
