Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse for a local contract in Charlottesville, VA. The role covers PICU, NICU, and other pediatric units on a float basis, with night shifts and a 13-week contract.

We require ICU/PCICU experience, NRP/ACLS/PALS, Epic experience, and VA license pending. Night schedule is 19:00–07:00, 3x12-hour shifts; local contract with UVAs float policy adherence.

Qualifications

• BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• PICU and NICU experience essential.
• Previous NICU/PICU float pool experience preferred.
• Epic experience; VA license pending; adherence to float policy.

Responsibilities

• Float across pediatric units including PICU, NICU, peds medsurg, peds PACU, peds ED boarders, and postpartum/mother baby.
• Provide specialized nursing care for pediatric patients requiring critical or intensive interventions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including UVAs float policy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality pediatric care.
• Adhere to scheduling requirements, including night shifts and block scheduling.
