Job summary

Augusta University in Georgia seeks an Open Rank- Clinical Faculty member in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. The role includes clinical care at Wellstar Golisano Children’s Hospital of Georgia and education for fellows, residents, and medical students at MCG.

The position is non-tenure track with three ranks (Assistant/Associate/Professor). Faculty duties include teaching, research activity, and service consistent with department needs. Competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent from an appropriately accredited institution and board certified/eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
• Must have or be able to obtain a State of Georgia Medical License, federal DEA, and be PALS/CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, comprehensive care in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
• Educate pediatric fellows, residents, and medical students; supervise and teach.
• Be clinically productive through service at Wellstar MCG Health and the Wellstar Golisano Children's Hospital of Georgia.
• Participate in on-call duties including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Meet OPPE metrics and maintain wRVU productivity targets.
• Foster professional relationships with AU physicians and external providers.
• Provide feedback to referring physicians.
