MGA Homecare in the Denver metro area is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for pediatric home health. This full-time, non-exempt role delivers coordinated OT under supervision across age groups in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel for home visits.
• CPR certification required.
• Professional experience as per state regulations.
• Excellent observation, oral and written communication skills.
• Successful completion of required background screenings.

Responsabilités

• Administers the occupational therapy treatment plan as developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Accepts clinical assignments within competence.
• Apply infection control and universal precautions in patient care activities.
• Provide effective communication to patient/family and care team.
• Assist with ROM, strength, coordination, adaptive devices, mobility, safety in ADLs under supervision.
• Provide health education to client/caregiver.
• Adhere to MGA policies and handbook.
