MedCare Pediatric in Houston, TX is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver one-on-one pediatric therapy in home, school, or childcare settings. You will work under an OT, helping children build strength, mobility, and daily living skills while educating families on home programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license by anticipated start date.
• One year of pediatric or related experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist according to physician-approved treatment plans.
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, activities of daily living, and overall functional independence.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
