Job summary

SOAL Home Health Services in South Austin is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our pediatric team. You will work under an OT supervisor to provide in-home and daycare therapy to children with developmental needs, with pay per visit and an immediate caseload.

The role supports families, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and offers flexible scheduling, a minimum 20 hours per week, and opportunities for growth, mentorship, and ongoing clinical

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Active Texas COTA license.
• Strong understanding of pediatric development and OT techniques.
• Home health and pediatric experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising OT.
• Provide direct therapy services using play-based and functional activities.
• Document and track patient progress, including functional outcomes and responses.
• Collaborate with SOAL’s multidisciplinary team to adapt treatment as needed.
• Educate families on home programs and techniques to support independence.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and compliance with regulations.
