Job summary

Kinetic Speech Services in Pearland, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a small but growing pediatric therapy team. Work with children of all ages, collaborating with OTRs to deliver evidence-based, play-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR).
• Implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
• Utilize play-based interventions to improve fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills.
• Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress.
• Educate and collaborate with families regarding home programs and treatment goals.
• Communicate effectively with therapists, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.
