Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for home-based pediatric cases in Brooklyn. The role offers a base salary of $80,000.00 plus comprehensive benefits including medical and dental insurance, a 401k after 3 months, 27 PTO days, and 10 paid holidays.

Part-time and full-time positions include a unique door-to-door chauffeur service from Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx. Work is in-person with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified by The State of New York as Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assessing under the OT Supervisor the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
• Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient.
• Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.
• Identifying the patients Sensory Integration processing needs.
• Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly.
• Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls.
