Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a qualified Pediatrician or Med-Peds physician to join our Division of Complex Health Care in Columbus, OH. The role involves providing comprehensive care to children and adults with complex medical needs, within a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must be BC/BE in Pediatrics, hold an Ohio medical license, and have or be eligible for board certification. Opportunities for leadership and involvement in research and teaching are available.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required or equivalent.
• Fellowship training required if applicable.
• Ohio medical license required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and treatment to pediatric patients and/or adults with pediatric needs.
• Conduct patient assessments and diagnose conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans per established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid diagnosis and care.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate care with healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate with other professionals.
• Participate in training/education of students and residents; stay current with medical advances.
