Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH, seeks an Academic Pediatrician to serve as Associate Division Chief for Research. Lead expansion of the Division’s research activities, mentor colleagues, and foster connections with the OSU College of Medicine's Research Institute.

Eligible for appointment at Associate Professor or Professor level. Candidates must be BC/BE in Pediatrics, hold an MD or DO, have an Ohio medical license, and a strong research track record.

Qualifications

• MD or DO equivalent required; board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Ohio medical license required; BC/BE in Pediatrics.
• Fellowship training preferred; strong research record required for associate rank.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients within the division.
• Develop and implement treatment plans following established protocols.
• Mentor researchers and trainees while expanding division's research programs.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and departments.
• Stay up-to-date with medical advancements and research in pediatrics.
