Job summary

The University of Washington Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Seattle Children’s Hospital invites applications for a full-time pediatric otolaryngologist with a clinical and research focus in complex airway disorders at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT).

The successful candidate will provide outpatient and surgical care, inpatient consultation, and educational supervision, while engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration

Qualifications

• MD or foreign equivalent required.
• ABO certification or eligibility in otolaryngology.
• Fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology completed.
• Eligible for Washington state medical license.
• Demonstrated scholarly productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and surgical care for pediatric patients.
• Participate in inpatient consultation and on-call coverage.
• Supervise and educate medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with Seattle Children’s Airway and Esophageal Center.
