Job summary

St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children seeks a Certified Nursing Aide to provide direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision. You will support regulatory guidelines and adhere to the care plan while ensuring safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications include being a NYS Certified Nursing Assistant with BLS, a high school diploma, and at least one year in Medical Surgical or Pediatrics preferred. Equity and supportive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 100 hours Nurses Aide Training Program completed; NYS CNA certification.
• BLS certification is required.
• One year experience in Medical Surgical / Pediatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality and safe delivery of resident care.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and reports observations and makes recommendations.
• Completes daily resident assignments efficiently and adheres to care plans.
• Accountable for resident safety throughout the shift.
• Provides supervision of assigned residents and tracks location during shift.
• Maintains resident appearance, hygiene, and appropriate dress.
