Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support medically fragile children in our PPEC program. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and document care plans in a family‑centered, nurse‑led setting. Flexible full-time or part-time roles available with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification and CPR on file.
• Minimum 1 year experience caring for infants and toddlers.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of all required screenings and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Assist with activities of daily living including feeding, hygiene, toileting, positioning, and mobility.
• Monitor patient status and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Measure and document vital signs as directed.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
• Support infection-control and safety protocols.
• Assist in transporting and accompanying children to and from the PPEC facility as needed.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in ongoing training, competencies, and in-service education.
• Support children’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs with compassion and professionalism.
