Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for medically fragile children and young adults in Durham, PA and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes compassionate patient relationships, safety, and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Active Pennsylvania CNA certification OR proof of completion of an approved 75-hour Home Health Aide training program in accordance with PA regulations.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current TB test or screening as required.
• Valid government-issued identification.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Ability to document care accurately.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and mobility activities.
• Support patient comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Follow care plans and caregiver instructions.
• Document care as required.
• Build positive relationships with patients and families.
• Communicate patient concerns and observations to clinical staff.
