Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and pediatric to adult patient care.
• Knowledge of procedures and safety protocols; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rooming patients, take vital signs, and prepare exam rooms.
• Enter data from patients and families into the EMR; document accurately.
• Assist physicians and nursing staff with procedures and patient care workflows.
• Prepping clinic for daily operations, monitor supplies, and order as needed.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety; communicate with patients and families.
