Qualifications

• Experience with babies and children; strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with administering immunizations preferred.
• Pediatric setting experience and EHR proficiency desirable.

Responsibilities

• Obtain detailed patient history and document in the EHR.
• Accurately draw up and administer vaccines for infants to young adults.
• Obtain and record vitals on each patient.
• Perform hearing and vision tests.
• Educate parents on immunizations, asthma, feeding, and illness management.
• Review patient records for immunizations and well visit status.
• Update patient immunization records in Florida SHOTS.
• Schedule specialists’ appointments and manage referrals.
• Order tests as instructed by providers.
• Follow up on referrals, tests, and labs to ensure compliance.
• Administer fluoride treatments.
• Provide nebulizer and other breathing treatments.
• Complete school and sports forms.
