The South Bend Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (12 hours weekly) for the Pediatrics department at the Eddy Street Campus in South Bend, IN. The role requires assisting with clinical procedures, patient triage, and accurate documentation in the NextGen system while maintaining HIPAA-compliant practices.

Ideal candidates are team players with strong customer service skills, proficient EMR users, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

Qualificações

• Certified Medical Assistant or non-certified with related expanded experience.
• Proficient computer skills including EMR, highly organized, ability to multi-task and enjoy working in a very fast paced environment.
• Able to work with diverse patient base of all ages.

Responsabilidades

• Provides ongoing triage and management of office flow to meet patients' medical and service needs.
• Performs the technical component of the department's clinical procedures competently.
• Documentation of all patient care is thorough and follows appropriate guidelines.
• Communicates patient care clearly and accurately.
• Receives patients professionally and rooms them per department protocol.
