Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator, Level 2 (CRC2) to oversee and ensure compliant clinical research activities across SHC. You will support protocol development, recruitment, consent, data collection, and safeguarding of pediatric subjects.

Reporting to the Clinical Research Program Manager, you will work with SHC staff and sponsors to maintain data quality, regulatory adherence, and patient safety, upholding Belmont Report and ICH-GCP standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in clinical research administration.
• 3+ years of clinical research experience including site/study management, IRBs, and federal regulations.
• Knowledge of electronic health systems and databases used in research.
• Familiarity with regulations related to clinical research and informed consent.
• Knowledge of Belmont Report, Nuremberg Code and ICH-GCP standards.
• Experience with large-scale data collection initiatives.
• Awareness of sponsor policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements in clinical research.
• Track study, investigator and IRB information and patient recruitment activity.
• Coordinate data collection, statistical analysis and dissemination of results.
• Prepare study results for dissemination to research teams.
• Uphold patient safety and data privacy throughout the study.
• Collaborate with SHC leadership to ensure research mission is upheld.
• Maintain scientific integrity and excellence.
