Job summary

Shriners Children’s Portland seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II to ensure oversight and compliance of clinical research activities. You will engage with investigators, staff, and sponsors to recruit and protect pediatric participants and to safeguard data under GCP guidelines.

You will track study information, IRB elements, and finances, while coordinating data collection, analysis, and reporting across multicenter projects. Collaboration and training for team members are key.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of specific job-related experience in clinical research administration if you do not hold a Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years clinical research experience, e.g. site management, study management, IRBs, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a contemporary knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for tracking all aspects of projects including study, investigator, and IRB information, patient recruitment, and financial management.
• Works closely with investigators, research leadership, study sponsor and regulatory agencies to conduct and report clinical research.
• Coordinates data collection, statistical analysis and dissemination of data results throughout a study; evaluates feasibility and data handling.
• Safeguards all participants involved in research approved by SHC.
• Facilitates the local site’s research programs and projects through collaboration and timely communication.
• Provides expertise and mentorship to site staff, residents, students, and volunteers regarding research processes and Good Clinical Practices.
