Job summary

CHOC in California seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II to support multiple translational and human subjects research projects. This role includes protocol feasibility assessment, IRB material preparation, participant identification, and data/specimen coordination, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The CRC-II will ensure timely record-keeping, manage study materials, participate in audits, and maintain clear communication across teams while adhering to ICH-GCP standards

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of clinical research coordination experience.
• Preferred pediatric clinical research experience in a hospital setting.
• Associate degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; strong interpersonal and written/oral communication.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and ICH-GCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinator support to multiple human subjects (clinical) research projects.
• Assess feasibility of clinical research protocols and prepare materials for IRB submission.
• Identify potential study participants and coordinate data/specimen collection.
• Complete study records accurately and timely; manage study materials and audits.
• Archive records per applicable policies and procedures.
