Job summary

CHOC is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to support multiple pediatric clinical research projects at our Main Campus in Orange, CA. The role involves coordinating data, specimens, and regulatory activities with limited supervision.

You will assist in IRB submissions, feasibility assessments, and participant identification, while maintaining accurate study records and quality assurance. Strong MS Office skills, GCP knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and able to work under pressure with multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of human subjects regulations and ICH-GCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinator support to multiple human subjects research projects.
• Assess feasibility of clinical research protocols and regulatory submissions to IRB.
• Identify potential study participants and coordinate data/specimen collection.
• Complete study records accurately and timely; archive records per policy.
• Participate in quality assurance audits and ensure compliance.
• Manage study materials and supplies; communicate across teams.
