Job summary

The University of Virginia seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator 1 (CRC 1), non-licensed, to support pediatric clinical research in the MD Clinic within the Division of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics in Charlottesville, VA. The CRC will work with investigators, clinicians, and other research staff to coordinate studies involving children and young adults and their families.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree is required or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Some healthcare setting experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day clinical research activities within the MD Clinic.
Collaborate with investigators, physicians, and research staff across teams.
Assist with participant recruitment, screening, and consent processes when trained.
Schedule visits and manage protocol-required activities and data collection.
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain study documentation and source records.
Prepare and submit materials to the IRB and monitor adverse events and deviations.
