Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program.
• Active license in the State of Florida.
• Experience working with medically underserved populations.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• One year experience in a health care setting providing direct care.
• Knowledge of Integrated Behavioral Health in Community Health (preferred).
• Knowledge of Federal, State and County regulations for FQHCs (preferred).
• Clean driving record, ability to drive company vehicle(s) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychometric and neurodevelopmental evaluations to support diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays, mood disorders, and behavioral disorders.
• Utilize standardized psychological testing instruments including cognitive, developmental, behavioral, and academic assessments.
• Prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports suitable for clinical care planning, educational services, and community referrals.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy, both face-to-face and via telehealth.
• Coordinate and collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, care coordinators, and case managers.
• Facilitate referrals to other services (e.g. substance abuse treatment, specialty care and community resources as needed).
• Provide crisis intervention as needed. (de-escalation, involuntary hospitalization authorizations, etc.)
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in and/or facilitate team meetings.
• Work to meet patient needs effectively and resolve individual barriers through follow-up, advocacy, and collaboration with OBFH staff and other community service providers.
• Other duties as assigned to support the mission of the organization.
