Job summary
WVU Medicine seeks a Clinical Child Psychologist to join the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry in Morgantown, WV. The role involves outpatient clinical work with children and adolescents, teaching medical trainees, and contributing to ongoing research projects.
The candidate will bring expertise in assessment and treatment of biopsychosocial issues across childhood and adolescence and may develop specialty clinics aligned with interests and departmental needs.
Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program with APA/CPA-approved internship.
- Must be immediately eligible for licensure in West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services in child, adolescent psychology in outpatient settings.
- Involve teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; participate in APA-accredited internship and Child Psychiatry Fellowship.
- Engage in research activities and possible development of specialty clinics based on interest.
