Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and MD RN license required.
• Current CPR.
• PEARS or PALS required or within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team to reach patient goals/outcomes.
• Complies with policies and procedures in providing patient care and coordinates nursing care for a designated group of patients.
• Participates in continuing education, professional development and staff development such as precepting new employees and serving on Nursing or unit committees.
• Participates in unit level performance improvement activities.
• Functions with a focus on patient safety and customer service.
