Job summary

Central Florida Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant (Peds) in Winter Haven, FL. The CMA will provide direct and indirect patient care under the Nurse Manager and collaborate with the clinical team to achieve optimal patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities include performing CMA duties, following infection control standards, maintaining neat exam rooms, and participating in staff meetings and patient outreach activities as directed by the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited school.
• Certified or Registered as CMA/ RMA/ CMAC/ NCMA/ CCMA and maintain current certification.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with CFHC’s program philosophies, goals and objectives and comply with policies and regulations.
• Be competent in performing the duties of a medical assistant.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control principles in a clinical setting.
